Hace un tiempo le compré a un muchacho de este foro el SIO2PC cable para revivir mi atari, funcionó de pelos. El único problema es que el laptop que tenía (obviamente con Windows XP + puerto serie) me lo usurparon (la pega lo pidió de vuelta, los desubicados) y me quedé sin puerto serie, por tanto sin juegos, ergo, sin atari
.He intentado muchísimas opciones de usar (AspeQt + Win7, APE + Win7) para recuperar mi 800XL nuevamente sin éxito.
Incluso me contacté con la gente de AtariMAX a ver si es que compraba la ultima versión de APE que decían que funciona en Windows 7 con mi adaptador.
O sea, o tienes un puerto serie directo al PC (para 64 bits) o usas la interface de USB de APE.Hi Steven,

It _may_ work, which is the best I can offer you. Since there is no way for me to know what
code runs in the USB->RS232 driver, how fast it is, how it operates the USB device, how the USB
device itself works, etc, latency between the Atari and the PC cannot be controlled. Some people
get generic USB->RS232 adapters to work, some get them to work just well enough to load a
few games (which is all many care about), but many experience nothing but stress trying to get
it to work.
I'd suggest either a real RS232 port attached to your PC, which the registered version supports
on 64-bit systems, or the USB version of the APE interface, which is guaranteed to work perfectly.

Alguien, alguna vez en la vida, de alguna forma "girosintornillica" ha hecho funcionar , algun pc con windows 7 y el SIO2PC con un adaptador serial?
